Celebrating Cindy R. Green’s 20-Year Milestone at Furr, Wegman & Banks Architects, P.A.

 This month, we are honored to celebrate a remarkable milestone: Cindy Green’s 20th anniversary with Furr, Wegman & Banks Architects, P.A. Two decades of commitment, expertise, and loyalty represent an extraordinary achievement, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all that Cindy has contributed to our team.

As FWB Architects has continued to develop, Cindy has grown alongside the company, taking on new challenges, adapting to change, and consistently setting an example of hard work and professionalism. Cindy has many proud design accomplishments in Central Florida, but she is most proud of the momentous Polk County Sheriff’s Complex, housing the Polk County Sheriff, Polk County Emergency Management, and Joint Communication Center’s teams. This vital complex of buildings is a beacon of strength and safety within our community.

Cindy has made a significant impact not only through her professional work but also via her extensive community involvement. She has served on numerous boards and committees, including EMERGE Lakeland, the City of Lakeland CRA Board, the City of Lakeland Planning & Zoning Board, Lakeland Kiwanis, and Camp Fire Sunshine. In 2014, she was recognized by Girls, Inc. “She Knows Where She’s Going” Award for her leadership and service. She currently serves on the Executive Boards of Sheryl’s BreastFest, Inc. and Puttin’ on the Pink Florida, Inc., two nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing financial support to local cancer patients. Cindy balances her professional and community commitments while also valuing personal time with her family, friends, and her Labrador, Bailey. 

Cindy’s impact is defined not only by her professional achievements but also by the respect she has earned for her character. Always ready to lend a hand, share knowledge, or offer encouragement, Cindy embodies what it means to be a supportive teammate and mentor to the next generation of FWB Architects. Known for her attention to detail, meticulous organization, and exceptional problem-solving skills, Cindy has been instrumental in shaping the culture and success of our team.
