Architect Phil Wegman excels at Sunshine Skyway 10k Bridge Run, celebrates with Air Force veteran father

Furr, Wegman & Banks Architects is proud to announce that Principal Architect Phil Wegman participated in the 6th Annual Sunshine Skyway 10k Bridge Run on March 12, 2023, for the third consecutive year. Not only did he participate, but he finished in the top 24% of all runners. This is a remarkable accomplishment, considering that the race features a challenging 6.2-mile course across the iconic Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida.

The Sunshine Skyway 10k is a unique event in that every registration dollar is donated to the Armed Forces Families Foundation. Since its inception, the race has raised over $2.6 million, supporting the brave men and women who serve our country and their families. It is a testament to the generosity and support of the community and the participants who join in the cause.

Phil Wegman's participation in the race is not only a personal achievement, but it is also a reflection of the company's values. Furr, Wegman & Banks Architects is committed to giving back to the community and supporting causes that make a difference. The company is proud to have a leader who embodies these values and represents them in the community.

At the finish line, Phil celebrated his achievement with his 85-year-old father Robert, a 20-year retired Air Force veteran. It was a touching moment that highlighted the importance of the race's cause and the impact it has on the lives of those who have served our country.
