Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Manager to work under the direction of Firm Principals to design and manage various project types including: Educational, Municipal, County, Athletic/Recreation, Medical Office, and Multi-family. Positions open in the Lakeland office as well as the Lutz office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Firm Principals to manage project from Concept to Final Completion.

• Accountable for communication and collaboration of a project design team and production of quality documents that meet project milestones and deliverables.

• Communicate with Clients to set and maintain project goals, priorities and schedule.

• Coordinate with project Consulting Engineers.

• Research building codes.

• Perform Construction Administration services including shop drawings and field observations.

• Implement office CAD standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must be focused, organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.

• General understanding of building construction systems.

• Ability to accurately produce a full set of construction documents.

• Self-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish projects on time.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional Degree in Architecture desired

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years in a professional architectural office using AutoCAD (2018 or later) 

• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook 

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro 

• Experience with Revit and Adobe Photoshop desired but not required.
