Architectural CAD Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking Architectural CAD Technicians (AutoCAD) to work under the supervision of a Project Manager(s). Applicants should enjoy working in a fast-paced, yet informal studio atmosphere. Positions are open in the Lakeland office as well as the Lutz office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate and collaborate with a design team to create quality drawings that meet project milestones and deliverables.

• Provide support on multiple projects with multiple Project Managers simultaneously.

• Maintain communication with Project Manager on project status.

• Field measure and accurately document existing conditions.

• Research building codes and incorporate into technical documents.

REQUIRED SKILLS;

• Must possess the ability to read and interpret drawings and sketches.

• Ability to accurately produce a full set of construction documents.

• Self-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish projects on time.

• Must be highly detail oriented and have the ability to solve problems with little guidance.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Implement office CAD standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years in a professional architectural office using AutoCAD (2018 or later) or AutoCAD certification

• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
